Your payment of $40 membership entitles you to attend as many classes as you like – for free. Some classes have a special cost to cover photocopies, materials or venue hire.

All tutors and the management committee are volunteers.

There is a reciprocal agreement between Hervey Bay, Maryborough and Howard which allows for financial members of one group to attend classes at another group without paying a second membership fee. You will need to have your fees’ receipt with you when enrolling in a class at another venue. Special costs must be met, for example, Class Fees at Maryborough.

Yes. All U3A financial members and volunteers attending U3A classes at authorised venues are covered by Public Liability Insurance.
