U3A (University of the Third Age) is a volunteer, not for profit organisation involved in the sharing of knowledge, skills and interests. It promotes the many benefits of lifelong learning.
Hervey Bay U3A was established in 1990 and we offer courses and activities covering interests such as Creative Writing, Ethics, British History, Spanish Language, Art and many more.
You can exercise your brain by participating in a class, leading an interest group or sharing your skills with others.
If you are retired or semi-retired and would like to stay active, then U3A could be for you.
No qualifications are needed. You just need an enquiring mind and a love of learning.
