Some dates to add to your diary
• Friday 12 Sept, Coffee and Chat morning, Hervey Bay Boat Club 10am
• Friday 3 Oct FCRC Over 50’s Lifestyle Expo 9am -2pm, Baptist Hall Nikenbah. We will be having an information stand at the Expo. If you have a spare hour or two to be on our stand and spread the word about U3A please let me know and I will add your name to our roster. Just tell me what time suits you.
• Wednesday 19 Nov End-Of-Year Get-Together with trivia and afternoon tea. Hervey Bay RSL 2.30pm – 4.30pmish. Our world-renowned Quizmaster, Colin Coates, will once again be in charge of the trivia together with his trusty side-kick (me). More information will be available later but start studying those trivia questions.
• Friday 12 Dec is the last day for 2025 for classes being held at USC.
Other classes will decide their own finish dates.
• Tuesday 3 Feb, 2026 Sign-On-Day, Hervey Bay RSL 10am – 12 noon. Come along and have a chat to Tutors, find out what new courses are on offer, enrol and pay your annual membership fee. This fee will be increasing to $40 in 2026. There will be coffee, tea and bikkies available, so you will be able to sit down and have a chat with friends.
