Courses at U3A Hervey Bay
Courses introduction
U3A Hervey Bay Hervey Bay U3A run a wide range of courses tutored by volunteers. Some courses run throughout the year while others just run for a few weeks.
Generally they run on a needs basis or as tutors become available.
New courses and tutors are always welcome.
No qualifications are required so if you would like to run a new course please contact the U3A president or a committee member.
The committee and U3A members are very friendly and supportive of new tutors and course members.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT COURSES:
- With Covid-19 restrictions being eased U3A Hervey Bay is making plans to recommence classes from 13 July 2020. This is the start of the Government’s Stage 3. The room at USC will be available for classes. However, due to social-distancing requirements only 15 participants will be able to take part in classes at the University. Other venues will be able to have up to 20 members present providing the requirements of social-distancing, ie being 1.5 metres apart, are met. Hygiene requirements, such as hand-sanitiser use, must be adhered to. Tutors will be in contact with class members to confirm arrangements.
