video maakingWelcome to Hervey Bay University of the Third Age Web-site and if you are new to Hervey Bay itself welcome to our bit of paradise we hope you enjoy your stay in the Bay and are able to join us in some of our activities.

We try to provide programs of learning for mature people who are in complete or partial retirement, under a broad philosophy of ‘life long learning', in so doing we try to provide learning activities that are not normally catered for by the multitude of clubs and groups within the Bay.

Further and for the most part our tutors are drawn from our membership and who give their time and energy to share their knowledge and skills with the members and for that we are most thankful.

As you browse this web-site you may find a course(s) that interests you, if you do please contact either the tutor concerned or our course co-ordinator.

We are always trying to widen our menu and you may be able to provide us with something new, we would encourage you to contact the course co-ordinator or any member of the committee to have a chat about the possibilities. We look forward to seeing you at any of our programs and hope you enjoy an enjoyable and stimulating time with Hervey Bay U3A.
